Founder and CEO
Diverse Janitorial Founder and CEO Rolando Cordero has over 11 years’ experience in the commercial janitorial and construction industry. His passion for running his business with pride and integrity, and his commitment to his clients, his team members and his community are the cornerstones of his work. In addition to overseeing the company’s operations and departments, he is directly involved in sales, contract negotiations, and monitoring overall and financial performance. His leadership and accomplishments have earned increasing recognition, including a 2016 Top Latino Business Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal and a 2019 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award from the Orange County Business Journal. His personal interests include mentoring other small business owners, traveling and bicycling.
Elizabeth Diaz
Office Administrator/ Bookkeeping
Elizabeth Diaz, Diverse Janitorial’s Administrator and Bookkeeper, brings her 20 years’ experience in office administration and full-cycle accounting and 5 years’ experience in project administration to serve the company and its clients. She fields incoming communications while handling the numerous clerical, administrative and bookkeeping duties required for the smooth running of the company’s day-to-day operations. Her contributions have enhanced our relationships with house accounts, increased customer loyalty and repeat business, and assisted us in attracting new clients. Her organizational skills have helped the company develop streamlined administrative procedures and policies, meet certified payroll, record-keeping and labor compliance requirements. Her personal hobbies include cooking, hiking, off-roading, bicycling and spending time with family and friends.
Jose Valdez
Field Supervisor
Jose Valdez has been Diverse Janitorial’s Field Supervisor for the past 5 years. He is our lead client contact, interfaces with project managers to provide work status updates, and ensures that everything goes smoothly on-site. In addition to conducting the company’s detailed employee safety trainings, coordinating job assignments and managing our cleaning crews, he oversees on-site construction clean-up projects and supervises all field operations to ensure safe and efficient delivery of our award-winning services. He enjoys working on cars, travel and spending time with his family.
